Braille and Audio Service
Braille and Audio duplication services translate documents into an accessible format for people with a visual impairment.
Since December 2005 the Irish Disability Act obliges public companies and some private companies to provide all their documents and information in a format accessible to the vision impaired.
Providing information in a range of accessible formats ensures that companies can reach the greatest number of possible clients.
Galway Centre for Independent Living will translate documents into Braille or Audio for members of the public and private companies.
